Happy 10 months, Story!

Happy 10 months, sweet girl!

This month of your little life really flew by, so much so that I found I didn't take very many pictures. I guess it was a busy month!

Just after your 9 month birthday, we celebrated Valentine's Day. Here are all of you dressed in your Valentine pinks and reds. Let's see what you are up to at 10 months:

• You love to eat! And you love to feed yourself. With the exception of oatmeal and yo toddler occasionally, we don't feed you at all.
• You love to eat chicken, turkey, grapes, bananas, cucumbers, puffs, broccoli, peas, green beans, carrots, apples, watermelon, and Cheerios.

Sometimes, you get a little help eating from your brother and sisters, ha!

• You are wearing size 4 diapers, 12+ month clothes, and maybe size 3 shoes because your size 2s don't fit as of this week!
• Your hair is really growing, and we think it's going to be the same color as Carter's, but not curly.
• You are definitely a blue-eyed girl, and they are gorgeous eyes!

You may or may not have eaten your first Girl Scout cookie (thin mints) mailed to us from your Cousin Aris. From the looks of it, you showed that cookie who was boss and loved every minute of it!

• You have 7 teeth, and as of right now, there aren't any more coming in although your gums in the back are swollen, so perhaps your molars are on the way.
• You are talking lots: momma, dadda, bye bye, and hi.
• You are picking on signs really well, too: you are waving bye bye, you can sign "all done," and you love to shake your head for "no ma'am!"

This month for Spring Break, we traveled to Arkansas to see Papa and Gigi, Aunt Karen, Cory, Cari, and Lincoln. You loved seeing everyone.

• You are a great sleeper. You sleep from 6pm-8am most nights.
• You take two naps each day, one morning and one afternoon. Your morning nap usually lasts about an hour, and your afternoon nap is 2-3 hours.

Here you are with Gigi at Chuck E. Cheese. The funniest thing happened while we were there, Chuck E. came by our table to say hello, and your little cheeks turned beet red. I think you blushed!

• You take 3 bottles a day, one in the morning, one at lunch, and one after your last nap. You drink between 6-8 ounces per feeding.

• You love to play pat-a-cake, and you have begun to clap your hands together this month. It makes you laugh so hard.
• You have the sweetest little laugh. Tilly does a great job of making you laugh, Carter and Summer too!

Your daddy thinks maybe you are going to be a lefty like Aunt Noelle. You mostly feed yourself with your left hand, so we will see.

• You are pulling up on everything and starting to cruise around the furniture. Perhaps, you will be walking very soon!

• Your little personality has really blossomed this month. You are communicating more with us, and you just love to laugh and smile.

Story, you bring so much joy to our family, and I don't think we could love you more if we tried. Lastly, here's a picture of the four of you together to celebrate your 10 months of life!
