Friday, was Olympic Day at Heiskell. It's one of my most favorite events that we do as a school. The elementary and junior high students are all divided into 4 teams, each representing a country. The preschool classes come out during the day to cheer on and support the athletes as they compete in various events. Carter's class cheered for Team Japan, so he got to wear his red shirt. Summer's class cheered for South Africa, so she wore blue. Tilly's class just went to take in all the sights, so we let her wear her pink shirt that way she could "be like Carter and Summer." So fun!
Here are the big 3 getting excited for Olympic Day!
This is my prekindergarten class lined up ready to watch the torch run and the parade of nations. We had so much fun as a class walking around to each of the events.
I spotted these two cuties in the crowd as we were waiting for the games to begin! What a fun day, even more fun to experience this day with my very own children. We can't wait until Story is big enough to join in on the fun!
