This past week was spirit week in preparation for Homecoming at PCS. Starting Wednesday, the children were able to wear special clothes to school.
I'm sure you can guess what this day was! The whole family got in on the action. Carter is thrilled. I am not sure if it's about holding Tilly's hand (probably) or having his picture made (definitely)?
Thursday was camouflage day, and thanks to daddy Summer and Carter were all decked out.
As you can tell, we were a little more into picture taking this morning. They insisted on wearing their book bags in one of the pictures.
Friday was early release and the homecoming parade, one of our very first events upon moving to Hattiesburg. After getting everyone from school, we snagged a good spot at the parade.
The girls were so excited. The cheerleaders were their very favorite part!
And you'll never guess who got to lead the parade and march with the flag!?! Our favorite little fella! He was SO excited!
However, we had a little incident just before the parade began, but he tried not to let it dampen his spirits. You know, he just wanted momma to know what happened and all!
Look at those handsome boys!
We found this special lady, Miss Gin, at the parade, and Story stayed right there about the entire time. Miss Gin was Summer's teacher last year, and she teaches Tilly this year! We love her!
There in the Bobcatmobile are Mr. Griffith and Dr. Smithers.
And finally the Bobcat! Happy Homecoming, go Bobcats!
