So in addition to Tilly's farm field trip and Carter and Summer's swim meet, and Story's doughnuts with Daddy, it was also the week of Homecoming and Spirit Week. Whew! Each day beginning on Wednesday, the children got to dress in different clothes to celebrate the week.
Wednesday was Camo or Neon Day, and we are all about some camo at our house!
I love these four to pieces.
Carter also turned in his very first book report during Spirit Week. He wrote his book report on Manta Rays, which was neat because we saw some real Manta Rays at the Georgia Aquarium a couple of years ago. Carter was able to take some photographs we had taken as well as some we found on the Internet that went along with his report.
Thursday was Team Day, and I let the children choose their team to support. Carter and Summer both wanted to wear their PCS Swim Team shirts. Tilly wore Carter's old Indianapolis Colt jersey from when Peyton Manning was the QB, and Story and I were the lone bulldawgs in the bunch! I'll take it!
A sweet family in my class also cheers for the dawgs, so I was just tickled when she surprised me with this little happy on Team Day! Go Dawgs!
Friday was Spirit Day and Homecoming, so the children could wear their new PCS Homecoming shirts or their spirit wear. We finally got Carter a Bobcat jersey, and he was so excited to wear it!
Friday was also Doughnuts with Daddy at Story's school. What a fun and super busy week! There's more to come, too. Homecoming was a big deal at our house this year!
