On Valentine's Day, David planted our potatoes in the garden. How romantic, right? Well, just wait and see.
We are learning a lot about gardening, and it's our understanding that once the potatoes die off, they are ready to harvest.
So, one afternoon this week, we headed out with our spoons ready to dig some potatoes.
Look at all of them! We harvested new potatoes and Irish potatoes.
The cooler was filled to the brim, so exciting to see all that hard work (David's hard work) come to fruition. The mashed potatoes we made that night were definitely delicious!
Here's a picture of the garden after the potatoes were removed. We are contemplating what to plant next, maybe some cantaloupes, yum!

Wow! I'm really impressed! I'd like some fresh french fries, please. :)
