Snow days!

A couple of weeks ago, we enjoyed something I was sure would never happen in South Mississippi, three whole snow days!  

I love this sweet picture of Summer and her classmate.  We were outside at recess on Monday, when we learned the news that snow was headed our way!  What! 

Sadly, we didn't get quite as much snow as was predicted on some of the sites, ha!  

But I did have four happy little ones, who were so excited to miss school and to play in the snow/ice! 

This was taken later in the afternoon during nap time.  Not a ton, but still really pretty.  It wasn't the soft, powdery stuff, but still so fun! 

It was really very cold, so we did lots of playing (and working) inside!  I think David was ready for us to go back to school after the first day.  The honey do list kept getting longer and longer, ha!  

One of our favorite things about snow is snow cream! 

I adore this sweet picture of my girlies all clean and ready for bed.  We had so much fun being home together for 3 days.  

The next morning, the big 3 headed out back to enjoy the snow fun on the trampoline!  

And what better way to end a fun, snowy day than story time with Daddy!
