Today was the first day of school for Summer and Tilly. We spent much of Tuesday getting ready for the big event, too. Once Carter was at school, we spent the morning picking out our clothes, and painting little fingers and toes. They were so excited when we woke them up this morning for the big day.
Tilly all buckled in ready for the ride, the quick 10 minute ride to school. What a change from what we are used to.
Summer cheesing from her spot in the back seat.
Once we got to school, we had a few minutes before Carter had to be inside, so we snapped a few pictures outside. Look how tall Tilly looks! I feel like she looks so grown up!
I love this picture of Summer. She looks like a super model, don't you think? She was so proud of her finger nails and her Vera Bradley bag. Sidenote, we haven't ordered backpacks yet for the children, so we were just making do with what we have, ha!
The two girls getting ready for their first day.
There are few things better than a Tilly sandwich!
A picture of the group before we all went inside. It seems everyone had a great day. Summer shared that she and her class had to look for the gingerbread boy, and when they found him they got to eat him! Tilly told me like five times that she was obedient today! So thankful for this new journey we are on, and so excited to see what we are going to learn along the way.
