With the beginning of a new school year comes all of those responsibilities like hair cuts, doctor's visits, and trips to the dentist! Sadly, we've yet to complete the first two mentioned. One out of three's not bad, right?
The children did so well. I think it helped that there were games to play. We loved that the games were non-digital, too!
Summer did so well; she just smiled the whole time. Tilly had never done this before, so she was checking out everything. Everything!
Of the 3, Carter's teeth were the best. The spacing in between them is great, leaving lots of room for those up and coming permanent teeth. Dr. Aaron gave us some tips for when the time comes to lose some teeth. Gasp! How are we already there? Just a tip parents, he says not to wiggle the teeth back and forth. That was news to me. His advice was to push gently but firmly on the loose tooth.
Miss Stephanie showing Summer what to do with the straw. Summer has some spots on the backs of her molars that occurred while she was in utero. Isn't it amazing how intricately God created our bodies? Possibly, I had a cold or a fever while she was in my tummy, causing a calcium breakdown in her teeth. I'm very thankful it's only with her teeth, but we are having to do some treatments in the future.
And now it's Tilly's turn. She did great for her first teeth cleaning.
Tilly's teeth are really close together, a great indicator that she will most likely need braces in the future. We knew for sure at least one of them would need them, ha! I wore them twice, so I will completely empathize.
Thankful that my children were able to have their teeth cleaned this week!
