Happy 9th birthday, Carter!

We celebrated Carter's 9th birthday on the Saturday before Memorial Day.  

We had a swim party at our neighborhood pool, and we are so thankful for the friends and family who were able to be there to celebrate with us! 

Carter had a Star Wars birthday party with a Star Wars cookie cake.  

And pool noodles, I mean light sabers! 

The very best part of his birthday weekend was having his best friend from Mississippi up to spend the whole weekend with us.  I loved seeing Carter and Peyton together again! So sweet! 

After swimming all day, this crew was pretty worn out, all except the birthday boy! 

Sunday of Memorial Weekend, Second Baptist Church welcomed two special new members.  Never in a million years did we dream that we would attend the same church with any of our family members, let alone David's parents! So special! 

One of the very best parts of his birthday was getting to spend his birthday weekend with one of his very favorite friends! Peyton left Sunday afternoon to head back home to MS.  We are so very thankful for his visit with us! Happy 9th birthday, Carter! We are so thankful for you and your life!
