Field trip fun!

Wednesday and Thursday, I was able to go with Carter and Summer on their class field trips.
Wednesday, Carter's class went to Jackson to the Children's Museum.  This was a first for us, and it was so much fun!
The children rotated to the three different areas of the museum throughout the morning.
During one session, the children learned all about the digestive system and how our body breaks down food.
The children used panty-hose and wet paper towels to show how food moves through our intestines.  Very interesting.
Carter's teacher, Mrs. Crum, had a family emergency, so she was unable to be there.  We sent her a video message telling her how much we missed her!
Carter had so much fun, and I loved being able to travel with him and his classmates.
Then, on Thursday, Summer's class got to go on a field trip to Kid's Rule because they sold the most mums at the beginning of the year.  And, they got to ride in this fancy thing!
It took a lot of coaxing to get her sit still and let me take her picture.
It took even more coaxing to take her picture with me!
Summer and her sweet friends.  While they were eating, I left to head back to school.  Loved getting to be with Carter and Summer on their fun trips with their classmates!
