Whew, I have been a blogging slacker! I have all these drafts that just need to be edited and published, so shame on me for not getting it done! A weekend at home with a sick little and nowhere to be lends plenty of time to catch up on some posting.
One of the presents that we gave Summer for Christmas was a gift card to have her ears pierced. She has been asking for over a year now, and she was so excited to finally get them done!
Summer had quite the audience with her for this big event. Here she is with Daddy right before she got them done.

The lady who did Summer's ears was awesome! She was so kind and patient and professional. She didn't mind that we were constantly taking photos. While she was getting ready to pierce each ear, she had us sing the ABCs, and long about the letter F, she clicked the gun!
Summer never cried once! She was so brave. We are thankful for Aunt Cari taking these sweet pictures. Daddy was a little preoccupied visiting with an old friend, who just happened to be in the mall that day with his family! So fun!

Pretty girl all finished. David and I chose pearls for her first earrings, so classy, don't you think?
