Act like you've been here before.

This past week, David got to experience something that for us seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity.  It all began Wednesday morning, when David pulled into this place.
Longleaf Plantation is a hunter's paradise, and it just so happens that the chairman of our deacons runs the place!  What a fun job for a fella!
The purpose of this particular hunt was to gather together with a certain group of men and hunt some birds.  And hunt the birds, they did.  Quail.  Pheasants.  David and his hunting partner killed more than forty just between the two of them.

What's so special about this?  I know, it's cool to spend your morning hunting birds, but the most amazing part is who he got to hunt with.  Do you see that gentleman on the far right, holding out his gun?  Well, that just happens to be Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia!!!!  I know!  How cool is that?  David was like a kid in a candy shop getting to shoot birds with the likes of this fine man.  Also on hand was the state auditor for Mississippi, a former Congressman, and a former State Senator!  It didn't hurt that he got to kill a few birds, too.  Sadly, these are the only pictures he got.  A special man once told David, "Act like you've been here before."  So, David did just that!
