Brown-eyed girls.

About a month ago, Tilly and Summer had check ups for their eyes.  Tilly goes every six months to check hers, and sometimes as often as every two months when needed.
We were cautiously hopeful at this appointment to hear the words: no more patches!
Tilly has been wearing her patch so diligently for the last year and a half, starting out at 6 hours each day and very slowly weaning to just one hour per day.
Dr. K was so surprised and impressed during this visit with how greatly Tilly's eyes have improved, music to this momma's ears!  She even changed Tilly' prescription to a lesser one.
And.  We heard the words, the magical words:  NO MORE PATCHES!  Now, we do go back just after Christmas to see how her eyes have adjusted to not being patched and to the new glasses prescription, so it is possible that Tilly could regress and have to wear the patch again, but we are hopeful that won't be the case!
The very next morning our other brown eyed girl had her check up with Dr. K.
This is Summer's first time seeing Dr. K.  and she had a good check up.  We did not learn anything new.  Summer does have a severe astigmatism and will most likely have to wear glasses all of her life, but otherwise her eyes are very healthy.  Carter, Summer, and Tilly all had to have new prescriptions for glasses, so we headed over to Walmart to order them some new ones.
Tilly.
Carter.
Summer.
All with their brand new glasses!
