Summer cuts.

Our little people's manes were getting quite shaggy, so we decided a visit to Miss Lou's beauty parlor/barbershop was definitely in order before summertime got away from us. After naps we loaded our party of six in the mommy car to get ready for our hair cuts. On the way over we discussed the cutting order, so there would be no fights, ha!
Tilly was nominated to go first, and she was so excited. Side note, if any of you have girlies with curly hair, can you recommend a shampoo or product for us? Tilly has some serious bed head, and we don't know what to do about it.
Summer was next because, as we have explained to Carter many times, ladies first. She was excited. I think it reminded Summer of when Miss Lou fixed her in a bun for her ballet recital.
Story was easily entertained with the tread mill and Mardi Gras beads. It won't be long until she is big enough for her first hair cut, as hers seems to be growing faster than Summer and Tilly's hair.
Finally, it was Carter's turn. He passed the time by looking at a book; he's a boy after my own heart for so many reasons! Thank you, Miss Lou, for helping us to get ready for summertime!

so around our house, the first hair product that is a must is detangler. i buy the generic spray form (because i'm cheap and it's a little less expensive then the johnson and johnson). and for claire, my little curly sue, i have a spray curling gel that i use on her sometimes. it's a garnier fructis curling spray shaping gel. good luck! you need to post an after picture!

Tressemme is my Curl Care choice. :) It doesn't make my hair crunchy, but keeps the curls defined. I use the Curl Spray and the gel.
