Friday afternoon when we came home there was a box sitting underneath our pretty Christmas tree. It read, "Merry Christmas, Carter, Summer, and Tilly. I love you, Daddy!" They could hardly contain their excitement, well Carter and Summer anyway. Tilly is always excited about everything anyway whether she knows what's going on or not!
The trouble was though, Daddy was not home when we arrived and found the said box under our tree, so we had to wait until he got home to open it! We thought he was NEVER going to make it home!
He finally did though, and this was our surprise - a little people nativity! We are so excited. Every day we have been talking to the children about the birth of baby Jesus as we anticipate His birthday on Christmas.
Carter seems to be taking over here. Being the oldest, he often thinks he's in charge. His little sisters do NOT have a problem keeping him humble though as you can see in the picture!
Like I said, Tilly is excited most of the time, especially when she sees her daddy! Thanks, Daddy, for our first Christmas gift this year. What better way to celebrate the birth of our King! We love you!

So cool. Josh's folks got Jack one for his birthday a couple of weeks ago. His favorites are baby Je-sus, So-seph & the angel.
