Meet the Grandparents

Story is one lucky girl! All of her grandparents were able to be here to celebrate her birthday. David's parents (Papa and Gigi) came in last Friday all the way from Arkansas to help with Carter, Summer, and Tilly. On Monday, they dropped the children off at school and came up to the hospital to be with us. Story is already famous for her "timing," so we were thrilled that David's parents were at the hospital when she was born. As we were planning for the week, we understood that it may not work out that way, since Papa and Gigi would be caring for the other children. What a treat! Not only that, my grandmother and mom were able to be here to help celebrate Story's birth. David and I were so thankful to have all of them here to celebrate the birth of our baby girl with us.
Proud grandparents looking on as Story gets cleaned up and ready to meet her family.
Papa holding Story for the first time!
Gigi holding Story for the first time. Look at that sweet face.
Mama with 4 of her great grandchildren.
So thankful for my family.
Four generations of Carter girls. So special!
I love this picture of Mama with Story. Mama has bought the going home outfit for all three of my girls. Carter wore David's outfit home from the hospital. I can't wait for you to see the pictures of Story coming home. That post is coming soon, after some sleep!
Checking out this sweet baby.
I love this picture of my mom! She is a high school administrator, and it looks like she is checking up on David to make sure he is doing everything just right, ha! We know he is more than capable of taking care of this sweet girl, though!
Such a sweet picture of Story with her T.
One last picture of Mama with Story. Thank you, Lord, for these sweet grandparents. Thank you that they were all able to be here for this special season of our life.
